Benevolence is in our name
Supporting people in Medway, and good causes beyond it, is one of the main reasons our Lodge exists.
Freemasons in England and Wales give many millions of pounds every year to charity, along with a great deal of volunteering time. Some of that giving is national and some of it is very local indeed — a minibus for a community group, help for a family in difficulty, or a donation to a hospice down the road.

The Cornwallis East Kent Freemasons Charity
Our Provincial charity, the Cornwallis East Kent Freemasons Charity, gathers the giving of Lodges across East Kent so that larger grants can be made to organisations across the county. It also helps Freemasons and their families in times of hardship.
The Masonic Charitable Foundation
Nationally, the Masonic Charitable Foundation is funded by Freemasons and their families. It provides grants to charities working in health, education, disaster relief and research, and offers practical and financial support to Freemasons and their dependants who need it.
